    Summary

    With the development of production in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, the turntable vacuum filter equipment that can take the place of both filtering and washing equipment (such as suction filter, pressure filter, etc.) has been developed by our company to meet the market demands. The whole process of filtration, washing and unloading can be done in the same equipment, which reduces the labor intensity and avoids huge consumption in each unit.

    This equipment has the advantages of simple operation, easy feeding and discharging, and it can run under sterile conditions, with less pollution of materials and higher product quality, matching the requirement of “GMP”. The vacuum filter consists of frame, cylinder, filtering turntable, transmission mechanism, feeding pump, feeding pump for washing liquid, vacuum pump, electrical controller, etc.

    Design Principle

    The cylinder is designed and made as a vacuum container

    The whole process can be completed in the sealed environment.

    At the filtering stage, the bottom of the cylinder is vacuumized to isolate the liquid.

    The outlet sheath is detachable, which is easy for installation, disassembly and cleaning.

    Materials are automatically discharged by the baffle plate through the reverse push.

    The amount of feedstock and washing liquid can be controlled by adjusting the flow of the metering pump.

    The whole turntable filter is equipped with one feeding inlet, two-step washing inlet, and one turntable rotating 360° automatically. The feedstock is in the front end of the washing liquid inlet, during the rotation of the turntable, it will be evenly distributed on the filter cloth. After continuous feeding, a filter-cake layer will be slowly formed, while the washing liquid will go through the rear end of the washing inlet, sprayed on the filter cake. 

    The bottom part of the cylinder will be vacuumized, then working on filtering and washing. There is a scraper above the discharging outlet. After fed and washed for several time, the filter cake will be high enough to be automatically scraped from the filter disc by the baffle plate. It works continuously in the process of feeding, washing and discharging during production that improves the filtering and washing efficiency. 

    The motor reducer drives the main shaft, then the turntable rotates forward, the speed of which is changed by regulation.
